Short: Nice CMYK Sep/Color Correction utility
Uploader: alatina@hotmail.com
Author: alatina@hotmail.com
Requires: 68020, OS 3.x, gfx/misc/RainbowSystem.lha
Type: gfx/misc
Version: 1.0
WYSIWYG 1.0
-----------
WYSIWYG is a professional color-correction/color-separation utility, and much
more.
First, using it, your pictures will be printed "exactly" like the original,
without chromatic aberrations due to inks impurities: you can set not only the
usual magenta/yellow correction, but also all the other combinations:
- impurities into cyan:
- % of Magenta
- % of Yellow
- impurities into magenta:
- % of Cyan
- % of Yellow
- impurities into yellow:
- % of Cyan
- % of Magenta
So you can reproduce exactly on screen the color of these inks on the paper; so,
using your settings, WYSIWYG will modify your pictures!
Second, WYSIWYG allows the modification of the colouring of the picture by
operating on:
- balance (red, green, blu, black).
- gamma (red, green, blu, black ).
- contrast
- brightness
- saturation
With a *REALTIME* preview, like no other programs!
Third, you have a full control of the two most important parameters of CMYK
separation:
- UCR (under color removal)
- GCR (grey component replacement)
with (another!) realtime preview!
And, last but not least, you can save the modified image in *TIFF* *CMYK*
format, how is required by all most important DTP programs.
Installation:
------------
You need to have already installed both:
- RainbowSystem (by Andrea Latina, myself.. :), not included in this archive.
- GTLayout.libray, included in this archive..
Usage:
-----
First at all run WYSIWYG_Prefs to set up your inks impuritites (the defaults are
the standard values), after run WYSIWYG and select a picture (JPEG or datatypes
are detected), then... enjoy (and take a look to menus!)!
You can set as tooltype (or as cli argument, if you start WYSIWYG from Shell)
the name of the public screen where to load the program...
Greetings:
